Mirriwinni State School

Looking for a great school to enrol your children in 2015? Mirriwinni State School is a beautiful little school where big things happen!

Mirriwinni State School is a primary school catering for students from prep to year 6. It is nestled in the lush, tropical valley of Mount Bartle Frere, Queensland’s highest mountain.

Nearby, you will find lovely shady beaches, superb rainforests and crystal clear freshwater creeks, not to forget the excellent fishing spots.

Our school serves the townships of Mirriwinni, Bramston Beach, Waugh’s Pocket and Woopen Creek.  The school is situated 65 km south of Cairns on the Bruce Highway and is one of a cluster of schools that feed Babinda P-12 State School.
